The Elvetham Hotel and Estate has a wonderful heritage, but it needs significant investment to restore it to its former glory.
The project team have been developing ambitious plans to re-invigorate The Elvetham Hotel and Estate with the restoration of key buildings, and sensitive expansions sitting at the heart of that vision.
As part of the consultation process, we held two online presentations on the scheme, each with a Q+A session, which took place on Zoom 4th and 5th March.

This scheme is being brought forward by Elvetham Hall (Property) Ltd, as a subsidiary of Jastar Capital, who acquired the Elvetham Hotel and Estate back in November 2019. Since purchasing the site we have been developing ambitious plans to re-invigorate it with the restoration of key buildings, and sensitive expansions sitting at the heart of that vision.
We are committed to engaging with the local community in Hartley Wintney as part of the development process.
The site has a wonderful heritage, however the current Estate and its buildings are starting to suffer from deterioration, requiring significant investment to restore them to their former glory.
With this in mind and the current Hotel’s offer limited to guest accommodation, small conferences or meetings and smaller weddings, the project team have been devising proposals that breathe new life into the Estate’s buildings, restoring them in a manner that reflects their historical significance whilst offering enhanced facilities for guests and visitors.

The feedback generated via this consultation process will be recorded, collated, and included in the Statement of Community Involvement we submit with the planning application to Hart District Council, which will be available for public view.
This will also detail any changes made to the scheme in response to the feedback received and respond to technical issues raised.
